Cylindrical, on a spreading circular foot, the sides exquisitely enameled in vibrant polychrome enamels against a gilt ground with stylized scrolling foliage, shaded flowerheads, and geometric borders in the Neo-Russian taste. The cartouche on one side is centered by a monogram within a rosette of white, turquoise, and lavender enamels. The elegant scroll handle is enameled en suite, the thumbrest similarly decorated with a multicolored rosette. The interior is richly gilded.

Hallmarked under base with maker’s mark ФР in Cyrillic for Feodor Rückert, and Russian silver standard 84 zolotniks (875 silver); partial Moscow city mark.
